- 로봇 도입이 당초 예상보다는 다소 느리지만, 잘 살펴보면 실제 진행형이라는 사실을 보여주는 다수 연구 결과가 최근 등장

당시 전망: exponential progress in computing was on the verge of delivering explosive advances in machine capabilities.

- 아마존이 고객 demand를 예측하는 역량을 엄청나게 향상시켜 delivery 혁신에 성공한 것처럼, 향후 기업은 업무 데이터 분석을 통해 필요한 인력의 숫자와 직무를 조정하는 등 근본적이고 획기적인 비즈니스 모델의 변화를 추진할 가능성이 있음

At some level of accuracy, Amazon’s ability to predict consumers’ desires could encourage the firm to adjust its business model in ways that are likely to change how many workers and of what sort the firm requires. 

 

- AI를 포함한 기계의 성능이 계속 향상된다면 인간이 할수 있는 새로운 업무를 만들어 내거나, 또는 일하지 않아도 될 정도의 부를 창출해 주는 시나리오도 가능할 것인가 

 ... continued improvement in machine capabilities will solve this problem on its own, either by creating vast new categories of work for humans, or by making us so much better off that we do not especially mind our approaching obsolescence.
